New Zealand is for the ardent adventurers, the adrenalin chasers and, actually, just anyone who wants to be amazed. It is a truly inspirational place. It is a pioneer of The Great Outdoors and encourages all things active. It is the sort of place that makes you want to get up, get out and do things and appreciate everything. But also snuggle up by the fire with a cup of tea or a glass of red wine and paint a landscape or write an entire novel.
Who would have guessed that being in a country which is one of the farthest places I could possibly be from England, would be a place in which I feel so immediately at home. And I’m far from being alone, I don’t think I have met a single person who has disliked New Zealand, and very few who haven’t fallen head over heels in love with it. I think it would actually be impossible to dislike this country, they should probably do some sort of a scientific study on it.
